Millinocket and Ambejejus Lakes
The Big Moose has several canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards for guests to rent. They can be rented by the hour ($6) or the day ($25). Both Millinocket and Ambejejus Lakes have small islands that guests can paddle to and enjoy a picnic lunch. The Boom House Museum is located on Ambejejus Lake and is a great trip for those guests who can paddle the several mile round trip.

Local Rivers and Streams Our canoes are for use on Ambejejus and Millinocket Lakes. If you would like to explore other lakes, streams or rivers, canoe trips are available from Maine Quest Adventures.
